履物はオシャレの仕上げです。
浅草の粋な旦那衆は、お祭りやハレの時に、前が反り上がった雪駄をカッコよく履いていらっしゃいます。
雪駄の女子バージョンで、疲れにくいものがあったら・・
女子用の雪駄がほしい・・・と最初に取り組んだのは約10年前、薄手の草履で女子サイズのものを、反りをつけてコルク芯で作りましたが、職人が逆反りの履物を作るのが難しく・・・
今回は大阪の菱屋さんが「江戸ってこんな感じやろ？！」と持ってきたサンプルから話が広がりました。
「た、頼む、女子サイズを、24センチのを作ってください・・」
と制作をお願いしてから１年あまり経ちました。
ありがとう、やっとできた、本当によかった・・

自信作です！
軽くて（片足約140グラム）足当たりもよく、反りが足のローリングを促し、どんどん歩けちゃいます。
通常の草履よりコンパクトなので、旅行や出張に持っていくのもおすすめです。
